Companion Species Zine
Started as a way to get to know my new neighbors (human and otherwise), this zine series explores relationships between human and non-human members of my Western Massachusetts ecosystem. Issue #1 features an interview with amazing teenage food foraging educator Aidan Hawkowl + in-depth information about his incredible plant companion, the Cattail. 16 pages with Xerox on blue paper and Risographed cover $10 US postpaid
DEAR HUMAN
Dear Human is a multispecies audio guide of Chicago’s West Ridge Nature Park, activating messages from non-human residents of the land: its pond, a large tree, a local deer, and others. The printed guide shown here features an interactive map of Chicago’s West Ridge Nature Preserve, where the project was first initiated, but its soundtracks may be activated anywhere. Double-sided Risograph print on toned paper $6 US postpaid
Listening Through the Landscape
A limited series of five audio postcards that activate water, singing insects, and earth, each contains a QR code that links to a different audio walk co-written and sound-designed with fellow artist Andrew S. Yang. These short, guided walks combine narration with environmental sounds collected during a residency in Singapore which coincided with the COVID-19 lockdown period. Offset printed on cardstock $20 US for the set of five cards.
